Anybody who would like to receive longer stay visa have to apply one of the following visas ( which are the only visas that exist for third countries people in Cyprus ), and acquire an ID ( before this document called- pink slip ):

1. STUDENT VISA

Through a college. It is a requirement that has an acceptance letter from a college in Cyprus ( usually the Colleges make the application and the whole procedure ).

2. WORKING VISA

Third country nationals are only allowed to work in certain sectors of the economy : housemaid, domestic worker, farms, agriculture and in rare cases in petrol stations. It is a requirement that the employer is qualified to employ him/ her ( for housemaids and domestic workers ), or has visa to employ third country nationals from the Labour Office ( for farms, agriculture and petrol stations ).

• Legal fees is 2850 euros plus the out of pocket expenses
• Bank Guarantee 880 euro
• Medical insurance 240 euro
• Employer responsibility insurance 120 euro
• Hospital medical examinations
• Migration fees 320 euro
• Stamps for the contracts 60 euro

3. VISITOR VISA

Following requirements have to be meet in order to receive Visitors visa:

Transfer from abroad ( or brings with him/her ) amount of 6,000 – 8,000 euros per person.

Proof that the money came from abroad and the source of the money.

• Legal fees is 2850 euros plus the out of pocket expenses
• Bank Guarantee 880 euro
• Medical insurance 240 euro
• Employer responsibility insurance 120 euro
• Hospital medical examinations
• Migration fees 320 euro
• Stamps for the contracts 60 euro

4. BUSINESS VISA

Following requirements must be meet when applying for Business visa:

• Registration of Cyprus company
• Open Bank account of the company and transfers minimum 212,000 euros from abroad to this account
• Clear police record.
• Migration fees approximately 690-820 euros 

Legal fees 6,500 ( plus out of pocket and 19% VAT ) which includes :

• Registration of the company
• Registration of the company in the Migration as Company of Offshore Interest
• Issuing Businessman visa.

Note: such a company ( Cyprus Company of offshore interest ) can employ up to 5 Person from third countries nationals, as staff or employees of the company.
